The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the contract to which you are a party.

3.1.3. Carrying out commercial prospecting and marketing activities

DOTHÉE regularly sends you information about its products or services and news by means of a Newsletter.

These are sent to you as a result of:

  • Filling in the contact form at trade fairs,
  • Your contact request via LinkedIn,
  • Filling in the contact form on the e-Commerce site,
  • Your request to subscribe to the Newsletter on the e-Commerce site,
  • Your placing of an order in the shop,
  • Your request for contact or information by e-mail as part of our customer relationship with you,
  • Filling in a form or a flyer offering a promotion in the shop.

The Data collected are: name, surname and email address of a contact person. At the shop, the address and telephone number are also collected.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest.

3.1.4. Maintenance of Data

In order to keep your Data updated in its Prospects and Customer database (additions/deletions/modifications) for marketing purposes, DOTHÉE processes the following Data: name, surname and email address of a contact person. At the shop, the address and telephone number are also collected.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest.

3.1.5. Ensuring the safety of systems

DOTHÉE processes your Data in order to ensure the security of the systems by ensuring the maintenance of the IT infrastructure (server maintenance, anti-virus, backups, guaranteeing, security, carrying out updates, setting up the multifunction printer etc).
The Data collected are: personal identification data (name, address, telephone number, …), electronic identification data (e-mail address, IP addresses, cookies, connection times, Login, Logs…) and security data (passwords, security codes, autorisation level).

DOTHÉE has installed fixed surveillance cameras in and around its building in order to ensure the safety of you, its staff and its property and, therefore, to prevent, ascertain or detect offences of which you and DOTHÉE may be victims.
The use of these cameras complies with the law of 21 March 2007 regulating the installation and use of surveillance cameras and the provisions in force concerning the protection of personal data. The presence of the cameras is indicated by the affixing of regulatory pictograms.
Access to the images from the surveillance cameras is limited to persons authorised by DOTHEE within the framework of their duties. The persons are bound by a duty of confidentiality.
The images are visualised in real time in order to allow immediate intervention in the event of damage, incivility or a breach of public order.
The images are recorded in order to gather evidence of incivilities, offences or damage, and to search for and identify the perpetrators, public order offenders, witnesses or victims.

When you contact DOTHÉE for any question relating to its services and products, DOTHÉE processes the following Data: the name of the company (personal data if it is the name of the founder of the company), the name and surname of the person completing the form, the email address of the person completing the form, the email address of the person completing the form, the telephone number of the person completing the form, the town and postcode of the person.
The legal basis on which this processing is based is the execution of a pre-contractual measure.

9. INFORMATION CONCERNING CHILDREN

As a general rule, we do not intentionally collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from children under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible, unless we are required by law to retain it.

13. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These provisions shall be governed, interpreted and executed in accordance with Belgian law, the only applicable law, in the event of a dispute.
Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably within a period not exceeding one month from its occurrence, this period may be extended by mutual agreement, may be brought by the most diligent party before the French-speaking Courts and Tribunals of the judicial district of Brussels, which shall have sole jurisdiction.
